Single Family Residences
EHSI/Healthy Buildings has conducted thousands of assessments in residential homes like yours. IAQ problems can affect new homes as well as older homes. We don’t care whether your home is 1,000 square feet or 10,000 square feet, we know how important good air quality is to you and your family.
EHSI/Healthy Buildings can investigate problems in the whole house, or just one room.
Apartments
EHSI/Healthy Buildings is very familiar with the types of indoor air quality issues that sometimes arise in apartment units and complexes. Water intrusion, mold growth, odd odors and “stuffy” air are common complaints. Let us help you resolve your air quality problem.
Condominiums
Condominiums are a great place to live but they can have the same types of indoor air quality issues as any other type of residence. We can assist you in addressing your concerns about the quality of your air. Our experienced staff can assess the condition and quality of your air and provide recommendations to improve it.
In addition to the normal IAQ issues that arise in residences, apartments and condominiums have some unique issues. The
uncontrolled transfer of air between adjacent units allows noise and odors, such as cooking and tobacco smoke, to affect the
occupants of adjacent units. EHSI/Healthy Buildings has been able to work with unit owners and condominium associations to resolve issues that have arisen due to the uncontrolled transfer of air between units.

Commercial Offices
EHSI/Healthy Buildings provides IAQ support for commercial as well residential properties. We spend a lot of our day at work and the quality of air in our work
environments impacts our health and well-being. While offices and commercial spaces may experience many of the same types of IAQ issues as residences, they also have many unique features that affect the indoor air quality of the work environment. Commercial offices typically have a larger population and more complicated mechanical systems than residential buildings.
EHSI/Healthy Buildings has investigators that can assess commercial spaces and provide solutions to improve air quality so that workers have a healthier, more productive work environment.
Schools
EHSI/Healthy Buildings has provided indoor air quality support to a lot of Pacific Northwest schools. Schools, particularly K-12, have very special populations. We know that many airborne contaminants have a bigger impact on young children than adults because of many factors including their higher rates of respiration and their not-yet-fully developed immune systems.
We understand that air quality within schools and classrooms should be the best possible so that our young people have a healthy and productive
environment for learning and growing. EHSI/Healthy Buildings is committed to providing IAQ support to schools.
Other
If you are concerned about indoor air quality or worker exposure issues in a facility other than those above, Healthy Buildings parent company, EHSI, can provide IAQ and industrial hygiene services for industrial, laboratory and manufacturing settings.
